Sawyer trained at the Hero Training Institute, and was inordinately proud of the fact, despite that institutions checkered past. In battle, she fills the communication channels with mile-a-minute chatter, and considers infantry a prime target on the battlefield.
Regardless of these idiosyncrasies, her combat skills made her a welcome addition for any employer.[1]

Sawyer was known to have piloted an AS7-D-A Atlas BattleMech, nicknamed "Sugar Rush".[1]
