Planetary History

Clan Invasion era

Clan Jade Falcon attacked Colmar in August 3050 during Operation REVIVAL's fourth wave. Engaging the already-weakened Twenty-fifth Arcturan Guards, the Seventh Falcon Talon drove the FedCom unit from the planet.[15]

When the Refusal War broke out in September 3057, Colmar provided the first of what would be many battlefields between the Wolves and Jade Falcons. In a brutal battle which reflected the long rivalry between the two Clans, the Wolves' 352nd Assault Cluster destroyed the defending Twelfth Falcon Regulars while suffering light casualties, though not without heavy equipment losses. After the battle Wolf Khan Natasha Kerensky arranged for the planet's populace to be armed and declared Colmar free from Jade Falcon rule, though Colmar returned to Falcon control following their ultimate victory over Clan Wolf.[27]

FedCom Civil War era

During the Jade Falcon Incursion into the Lyran Alliance, Colmar was one of a number of Falcon worlds struck by second-line Wolf Clusters. Despite a strong showing by the Twenty-first Wolf Regulars Khan Vlad Ward eventually ordered their withdrawal, as their primary objective was to gain combat experience, not territory.[28]

Dark Age

Clan Wolf staged a massive Trial of Possession for the world of Colmar in early 3131. Elements of Zeta Galaxy accepted the trial. During that action, Benj Malthus scored two BattleMech kills and destroyed two squads of infantry during that Trial with his particular Gyrfalcon[29]

In June 3147 Colmar was one of three Jade Falcon worlds attacked by the Hell's Horses during Operation NOYAN. The planet was successfully taken and incorporated into the Hell's Horses Occupation Zone.[25]
