Curtis McElwee was a notable MechWarrior in the Capellan Confederation Armed Forces during the Jihad Era.[1]
History
Sao-shao McElwee fought a fierce resistance against the Federated Suns invasion of Necromo in 3068 but was unable to prevent the planet's fall in August of that year. She subsequently refused to adhere to an order recalling her from the planet and established a successful guerrilla movement against the occupying forces. Her command lance regularly screened her guerrillas as they retreated from raids, allowing them to outfight lighter enemies or avoid heavier ones. The misfortunes that later affected Duke George Hasek's Operation SOVEREIGN JUSTICE gave McElwee hope that Necromo would soon rejoin the Capellan Confederation.[1]
