Sang-shao David Lockhardt was the commander of the Lockhardt's Ironsides, with the Capellan Confederation, from at least 3144 to 3145.[1]
History[edit]
Lockhardt participated in Operation CELESTIAL REWARD, the Confederation's invasion of the Federated Suns during 3144 and 3145, with the Ironsides mostly operating as a second line garrison force to secure captured worlds. While some of his troops grumbled about the lack of combat action, Lockhardt himself was pleased to have been able to discharge his duty without heavy casualties.[2]
This included an assignment on Taygeta, where Lockhardt was unable to pacify the entire planet, and so instead focused on maintain control of a series of firebases while leaving Armed Forces of the Federated Suns resistance fighters elsewhere unhindered.[3]
By December 3145, Lockhardt and the Ironsides were based on Jaipur, helping to keep the locals from getting restive.[1]
