Major General Denis Bellomi was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 261st Mechanized Infantry Division from at least 2750 to 2764.[1]

After taking command of the 261st Mechanized Infantry Division in 2750, Major General Bellomi personally funded the construction of a Trireme in honor of his unit's nickname (The Trireme Division), which divisional personnel sailed in a annual boat parade on Nagel which celebrated the colonization of that world.[1]
