The Donenac system is the location of at least one habitable world or construct and as of 3145, is located in the Irurzun Prefecture of the Benjamin Military District, within the Draconis Combine.[1][2]

System Description

The Donenac system is located near the Harpster and Irurzun systems.[1][2]

System History

The Donenac system was colonized during the First Exodus from Terra.[3]

During the War of Davion Succession Donenac was attacked by the First Robinson Chevaliers on 8 August 2725, as part of the Federated Suns' efforts to divert DCMS units from the assault upon the Draconis March.[4] The Chevaliers fought the defending Sixth Benjamin Regulars but were unable to conquer the planet; by the middle of 2726 the Fifth Benjamin Regulars had arrived to reinforce the Sixth, and the Combine navy had forced the Chevaliers' transports out of the system. The stranded Chevaliers fought on and refused an offer of surrender, but could not prevent the Sixth Benjamin from departing Donenac and was reduced to raiding DCMS supply caches. Near the end of 2728 FedSuns naval units managed to rescue the remaining Chevaliers.[5]

Donenac was closed off for three months during an outbreak of Chelosian Virus in 2964; Shimosuwa in 3011 from a planetary outbreak of the Notilc Sweats; and Sertar for almost a year in 3043 from a bad outbreak of Darr's Disease.[6]
