History

Named for Grayson Carlyle's father, the Durant was a Union-class DropShip of the Gray Death Legion during the Third Skye Rebellion in mid-3065. It was sent to investigate a jump signature in the Hesperus system (caused by the JumpShip Macbeth), but failed to detect the three Overlord-class vessels on which the Twenty-second Skye Rangers carefully snuck towards Hesperus II.
