The Edasich system was home to at least one habitable world, Edasich III, and as at 3145 was located in the Clan Jade Falcon Occupation Zone.[2][3]

System Description

The Edasich system is located near the Kirkcaldy and Whittington systems.[2][3] The Edasich system consists of at least three planets orbiting a class F6IV primary, and during the thirty-first century a recharge station was in place at the zenith jump point.[1]

System History

The Edasich system was colonised at some point between 2319 and the founding of the Lyran Commonwealth in 2341.[4][5]

Edasich III

Template:InfoBoxPlanetStandard

The third planet in the Edasich system, Edasich III - more commonly known simply as Edasich - was home to a major Star League era industrial plant for several centuries.[1]

Planetary History

The Jihad

In April 3068 a combination of Word of Blake forces and mercenaries in their employ raided numerous worlds across the Inner Sphere, including Edasich.[6]

By the closing stages of the Jihad in 3079 the ancient Star League-era Edasich Motors facility located in Vesteralen on the Forbidden Islands was approaching the final stages of it's useable life, leaving the population in fear of losing their largest employer. Despite the state of the plant it was still able to keep up with the demands from Defiance Industries, largely due to the reduced level of demand in the wake of the damage inflicted on Defiance during the Jihad.[1]
