Emile Loo was an officer with the Capellan Confederation Armed Forces.
History
In 3025 Loo was serving as the Commanding Officer of the Third Battalion of the McCrimmon's Light Cavalry.[2]
Emile Loo is a major POV character in the (apocryphal) German novel Die Kanonen von Thunder Rock. In this novel, McCrimmon's Light Cavalry is stationed on Pleione at the onset of the Fourth Succession War, and the first wave of Operation RAT hits them by surprise. Loo and his unit manage to hold out for a time in Thunder Rock, an ancient Star League era facility built into a mesa next to the capital city, but eventually his position is overrun when a battalion of enemy BattleMechs combat-drop on top of Thunder Rock and force their way down into the facility through a 'Mech door there. Loo is killed in close-quarter 'Mech combat inside the facility.[1]
