Eriabee Childs was a MechWarrior, who served within the Northwind Highlanders' Northwind Fusiliers, during the Dark Age Era.[1][2]

Childs had red hair and hazel eyes.[1]
History[edit]
A native of Northwind, and a direct descendant of prior generations of Highlander mercenaries, Childs was training to be a MechWarrior when the Blackout happened. Answering Tara Campbell's call to arms, Childs' skills and loyalty to Highlanders' ideals earned her an assault BattleMech slot, though her views on the Highlanders future was more radical than many. Believing the Highlanders could not afford to prop up the Republic of the Sphere with only their own resources, she advocated converting the Highlanders back into a mercenary unit which could recover the costs of "fighting the good fight".[1]
As of 3132, Childs commanded an Assault Lance within the Northwind Fusiliers, which also included Chas Kearns, Rotem Fridberg and Fabian Domel.[3] Her combat experience with the Fusiliers included combat against the Steel Wolves,[2], and when fighting with them, she displayed a restrained combat style which emphasized heat management.[2]
BattleMech[edit]
Childs was known to have piloted an Atlas BattleMech, serial number LC6788-97J, nicknamed "Goliath". Built on Hesperus II for the Lyran Commonwealth, this 'Mech came to the Republic as part of an arms and technology trade.[1][2]
