Star Captain Erlish Wirth was the commander of the Second Trinary Battle, 7th Jaguar Dragoons Cluster of Clan Smoke Jaguar, as of 3052.[1]

Prior to Operation Revival, Wirth had an idealistic view of what the Inner Sphere would be like, which was quickly shattered by the reality of living on occupied Draconis Combine worlds. His naïve hope that the Clans would be welcomed as liberators died after being involved in a third car bombing, resulting in him being merciless to the Inner Sphere (or worse, mercenary) troops he is forced to face.[2]
