The Eutin system contains at least one habitable planet, Eutin III, and as of 3145 was located in the Coventry Province of the Lyran Commonwealth.[2][3]

System Description

The Eutin system is located near the Greenlaw and Tharkad systems[4][5] and consists of at least three planets orbiting a class G3V planet. One of the moons of Eutin III, Eutin Prime, is also habitable - albeit marginally - and is the site of a significant industrial facility. During the thirty-first century a recharge station was in place at the system nadir jump point.[1]

System History

The Eutin system was settled during or shortly after the First Exodus from Terra and was a member of the Protectorate of Donegal prior to the formation of the Lyran Commonwealth.[6]

Eutin III

Template:InfoBoxPlanetStandard

Eutin III - more commonly known simply as Eutin - is the third planet in the system and has two moons, Eutin Prime and Eutin Minor. Eutin Prime is marginally habitable, and during the thirty-first century was home to a significant industrial facility.[1]

Planetary History

The Jihad

While Tharkad was occupied by the Word of Blake during the Jihad, the major defense manufacturer TharHes Industries constructed a battle armor facility on Eutin Prime. The presence of the new factory and the jobs it created as it manufactured Rottweiler and Sloth battlesuits was a godsend for the population of Eutin Prime, who dwelled in domed settlements; following completion of the plant, the population of Eutin Prime doubled to almost 800,000 people.[1]

Military Deployment

3079

  • Planetary Militia[1]
The planetary militia expanded following the construction of the TharHes plant on Eutin Prime, thanks to receiving six new aerospace fighters to help protect both Eutin and Eutin Prime, as well as receiving a few battlesuits each year.[1]

Geography

Eutin has four continents named Großer, Keller, Kleiner and Uklei.[1]

Planetary Locations

  • Oldenburg: the planetary capital city, located on the coast of Kleiner, and home to the planetary militia.[1]
