Tallmadge was invaded during the first half of the major invasion into the Federated Suns launched by the [[Draconis Combine]] in May [[2787]].<ref name="FSWp44"/> In [[2801]] a mercenary force that included [[Leftenant]] [[Rachel Akron]] - an [[AFFS]] [[MechWarrior (pilot)|MechWarrior]] and veteran of Kentares - ambushed and destroyed a recon [[lance]] from the [[First Sword of Light]] on Tallmadge. She had demanded an immediate leave of absence to pursue the bounty offered by [[House Davion]] for the heads of Oshita and his lancemates, and during the battle on Tallmadge that saw Oshita's lance destroyed, she personally killed his technicians, storming the unprotected field hanger they were working from. The Fairfield system was home to at least one habitable world or construct and as at 3145 was located in the Barlow's End Prefecture of the New Samarkand Military District within the Draconis Combine.[1][2]

System Description

The Fairfield system is located near the Glenmora and Tallmadge systems.[3]

System History

The Fairfield system was colonised during the First Exodus from Terra[4] and by the end of the Age of War had been incorporated into the Federated Suns.[5][6]
