Star Colonel Farouk Cobb was the commander of Clan Hell's Horses's Forty-second BattleMech Cluster, and Bloodnamed warrior of the Cobb Bloodhouse, as of 3145.[1]
History[edit]
Following the formation of the Golden Ordun with Clan Jade Falcon, Cobb was so upset with his Cluster's exclusion from the invasion of the Lyran Commonwealth, that he demanded a Trial of Grievance with Khan Gottfried Amirault. The reward for his constant lobbying was an assignment to support Jade Falcon Khan Malvina Hazen's 3145 assault on Hesperus II, which became known as the Seventeenth Battle of Hesperus II against Lyran Commonwealth and Clan Wolf forces, though only because Khan Amirault wanted them to be used as cannon fodder.
On Hesperus II, Cobb and the Forty-second BattleMech Cluster gave a good account of themselves, despite being subjected to intense pressure by Clan Wolf forces owing to the Cluster's responsibility for the death of Wolf Khan Vladimir Ward sixty years before. Following Khan Hazen's threats to use Nuclear Weapons however, and resulting assassination attempt on Hazen's life by Beckett Malthus, Cobb abandoned Hazen and fought his way back to the Clan Hell's Horses Occupation Zone. This combat laden trip included battles against Falcon units on Blue Diamond and Hyperion, before returning to Feltre, later in 3145.[2][3]
