Fire Capsule

Overview

A Fire Capsule is a tiny incendiary charge used during espionage operates to destroy sensitive documents. The capsule is implanted directly into the document and, when squeezed, unleashes its incendiary mixture to destroy the document with minimal excess energy output. Two seconds of concentrated pressure is required to activate it in order to prevent accidental combustion, though a sensor within most capsules will cause an automatic ignition should the document be photocopied or scanned. A fire capsule is also difficult to locate unless one knows exactly where to look for it.
