The First Lord was the leader of the [[Star League]].  During the first Star League it was passed down the Cameron line until [[Richard Cameron]] was assassinated by [[Stefan Amaris]].  After the [[SLDF]] defeated Amaris's forces, each of the house lords took the title First Lord which lead to the [[Succession Wars]].

The title First Lord was an elected titled during the [[Second Star League]].  Each term of First Lord was for 3 years and there was no reelection until everyone else held the post.  There was only three First Lords for the [[Second Star League]] before it fell apart.
