Description

The Gurzil was developed by Clan Jade Falcon to provide fire support for their units. Similar to the JES II missile carrier, the Gurzil was designed to provide missile support. With a top speed of 64km/h, the Gurzil relies heavily on twelve and a half tons of Ferro-Lamellor Armor for protection.[1]

Weapons and Equipment

The Gurzil has two Streak LRM 15s and Medium Pulse Lasers mounted in its turret. The Streaks provide direct missile support to friendly units, while the Medium Pulse Lasers provide the ability to strike at battle armor and armored targets. The Streaks are so efficient that only three tons of ammunition are provided. For those times where the enemy has a solid anti-missile defense, the Gurzil also carries two Mech Mortar/8s in forward facing hull mounts. The five ton magazine allows twenty salvos of fire from the mortars. Given the variety of alternate ammunition types available, a skilled commander can use the Gurzil in a variety of roles.

Variants

No variants of the Gurzil are known to exist.
