Star Captain Gwin Fetladral was a Steel Wolves and Clan Wolf MechWarrior, as well as Bloodnamed warrior of the Fetladral Bloodhouse, during the Dark Age Era.[1][2][3][4]

Personal Appearance[edit]

Gwin had blond hair and hazel eyes.[1]

History[edit]

Steel Wolves[edit]

A trueborn MechWarrior, Gwin had a keen tactical mind, which brought her countless victories both on the battlefield and the Circle of Equals. Her skill and drive allowed her to win a Trial of Bloodright for a Fetladral Bloodname by age 25 in 3125. Following this feat however, any remaining ambition seemed to disappear, apart from a desire for a glorious death in battle.

As part of the Steel Wolves located in the Republic of the Sphere, Gwin led a pursuit Star in the Wolfkin Keshik, and was one of Galaxy Commander Kal Radick's most ardent supporters. She wholeheartedly agreed with his vision of returning the Steel Wolves to their roots as Crusaders with Clan Wolf, though it was believed at the time that this allegiance was as a devoted subordinate following who was currently in charge, rather than a real ideological commitment.[1]

Clan Wolf[edit]

Following the death of Kal Radick at the hands of Anastasia Kerensky in 3133, it was however shown her commitment to the Crusader cause was genuine, and after a few operations under Kerensky she abandoned the Steel Wolves and Kerensky to rejoin Clan Wolf, vowing to repay Kerensky for so casually discarding Radick and his vision.

When Clan Wolf struck into the remains of the Republic of the Sphere, she was at the forefront leading her troops with consummate skill, with a new 'Mech and rank as Star Captain.[2][3]

Tactics[edit]

Gwin favored using her missile launchers, keeping her heat levels low, while wearing down her enemies with well-aimed missile volleys.[1]

BattleMech[edit]

Gwin is known to have initially piloted a Cougar OmniMech. This 'Mech, serial number JF4914-75A, initially served with Clan Jade Falcon as part of the liberation of Coventry during the Word of Blake Jihad before accompanting allied troops to liberate worlds closer to Terra. It was then claimed by Stone's Coalition on Rigil Kentarus, after being salvaged from wreckage near the city of Mesopita.[1]

Later, after rejoining Clan Wolf proper, piloted a WUL-FN-L Wulfen OmniMech named Gray Hunter.[2][3]
