The Hean system was the location of at least one inhabited world or construct, and as of 3151 was a Clan Sea Fox enclave within the remains of the Robinson Operational Area of the Draconis March within the Federated Suns.[1][2]

System Description[edit]

Hean is located near the Ankaa and Deneb Kaitos systems.[3]

System History[edit]

The Hean system was colonized during or shortly before the First Exodus from Terra,[4] and may have been one of the worlds rendered independent as a result of the Demarcation Declaration. Hean subsequently joined or was annexed by the Terran Hegemony prior to the Age of War.[5]

Hean was ceded to Clan Sea Fox in October 3146 by Julian Davion as payment for their transportation services during his homeward expedition across the Capellan Confederation.[6]

The Capellan Confederation Armed Forces offensive began in early 2787 with the conquest of Angol, Rio, and Tybalt; with those invasions complete by August, the CCAF launched a second wave of attacks in October 2787, targeting Hean, New Florence, and Ronel. The Armed Forces of the Federated Suns defenders on Hean had been expecting an invasion since the Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery invasion of New Rhodes III in May, but had anticipated an attack by Combine forces, not Capellans.
