The Homer's Hooligans were a battalion-sized mercenary unit operating during the Third Succession War local to the Free Worlds League.[1]
History[edit]
In proximity to Amity around March 3027, the Hooligans were hired by the Obsidian Harvest Corporation to beef up the defense of their headquarters and board of directors as the deceitful company attempted to blackmail the Free Worlds League Parliament over a secret mining contract that the greedy company now attempted to renege on. Despite their hopes that the League would back off to prevent word of the Parliament's involvement in the deal being leaked, elements of the Marik Militia on-world were activated to deal with the situation, supported by a mercenary outfit.[1]
Fortifying the company's primary dig site with artillery emplacements, Homer's Hooligans prepared their BattleMechs for the League assault. Despite their best efforts, they were defeated by the combined Militia and mercenary attack.[1]
