Colonel Horiuchi Kogara was the commander of the Stone's Fury from at least 3145 to 3147.[1][2]

Appointed to lead the newly formed Stone's Fury, Colonel Kogara ran his troops through a rigorous training regime, in preparation for the war which would follow the dropping of the Fortress Republic Wall. Based on his interest in military history, Kogara created new training programs for a different opponent each month, just as for the Dieron Regulars or Clan Wolf's Beta Galaxy.[3] As of 3145, this training was conducted on Liberty, where Kogara and the Stone's Fury were based.[1]
In around 3147, Kogara caused the Stone's Fury to requisition the bulk of the initial production run of the new LMT-2D Lament BattleMech, due to his interest in the capabilities of its experimental Drone Command Unit.[2]
