Major Hussein Tajdar was an officer in Epsilon Regiment of Wolf's Dragoons.[1]

Hussein Tajdar was reputed to have been a brave, capable, though ambitious officer, who had aspirations of commanding Epsilon Regiment and the Dragoons as a whole. While hiding his nature with a happy and loyal face, he was known to submit critical reports about fellow officers and superiors.
As of early 3028, Tajdar was the commander of Charlie Battalion ("Hussein's Hussars") of Epsilon Regiment, including during the Battle of Misery.[1]
His ambitious nature had harmed the morale of Charlie Battalion, as his troops perceived they were being used merely to advance his career. However he apologized to them before Misery, imploring them to do their best for the Dragoons, and was known to act with greater humility afterwards.[2]
Following Misery, Tajdar became the commander of Epsilon Regiment's Fourth Provisional Company, a perceived demotion he was furious about. While fighting with the Fourth Provisional during the Fifth Battle of Harrow's Sun, he led a bold attack apparently intended to increase his chances of future promotion, only to be cut off from his lance and killed.[1]

Hussein Tajdar initially piloted an Stalker BattleMech until the Battle of Misery when it was destroyed, after which he was assigned a Whitworth.[1]
