History
In 2764 the McKenna-class battleship SLS Implacable was the flagship of Vice Admiral Sir Inman Post, the commanding officer of the 182nd Line Squadron, a part of the Star League Defense Force Eighteenth Fleet. Vice Admiral Post demanded a high level of readiness for ship-to-ship actions from the officers and crew of the Implacable and the other vessels under his command, a reflection of his view that the firepower of the SLDF battleships such as the Implacable constituted the first line of defense for the SLDF.[1]
