The Independence system is home to at least one habitable world or construct and as at 3145 was located in the Fronc Reaches.[2][3]

System Description

The Independence system is located near the McEvans' Sacrifice and Rockwellawan systems.[2][3]

System History

The Independence system was either colonized during the joint colonization efforts of the Magistracy of Canopus and the Taurian Concordat during the mid-thirty-first century,[4][5][6] or was an already-inhabited system that became significant enough during this period for Inner Sphere nations to begin recording it's location on maps.

This is a lush world filled with vast ocenas and jungle-covered volcanic islands. Governed by a plutocracy and with its inhabitants regulated by a strict caste system, the planet's income is generated by their recreational tourism industry.[7]
