Planetary Info
Iruzun contains a great deal of metal ores, gemstones, and radioactive materials. In 3025 this led the High Command to station the 3rd and 6th Benjamin Regulars on the world, supported by three regiments of conventional infantry. The High Command suspected that the MIIO and DMI placed agents on the world, which lead to a higher than average ISF presence.
Prior to the discovery of mineral resources, Irurzun was a beautiful world. With the presence of these resources and the Combine's traditional mining techniques, it remains unclear if the pleasant views will remain intact.[1]
