Izmir is a planet or system which was originally located within the Rim Commonality region of the Free Worlds League. Izmir is near Lesnovo and Romita and vanished from maps during the 3rd Succession War.[7][8] On the 13th of April 3075 the Rim Commonality formally seceded from the Free Worlds League, invoking the ancient provisions of Camlann vs. Free Worlds League as their authority to do so. In addition to establishing the Rim Commonality as an autonomous state, the founding charter of the new state also named both Izmir and the nearby world of Stettin as full members of the Commonality, despite both worlds being commonly known as "lost worlds" - neither colony having made contact with another world in almost 200 years.[13]
