Jake's Discount Equipment Warehouse is a successful independent wholesaler.[1]
Overview
The company started as Discount Equipment Warehouse. Built on a Military Materiel Redemption Program loan, it sold affordable industrial equipment. Financial troubles led to bankruptcy, which was followed by its acquisition by Bannson Universal Unlimited in 3128. Under Bannson it was rebranded Jake's Discount Equipment Warehouse, and it began selling military and militarized equipment, particularly militarized industrial equipment. It developed a reputation for dubious and deceptive advertising, suffering several lawsuits. It also suffered from the open violent conflict between owners Bannson Universal Limited and salvagers Belyakov-Ourobouros.[2]
JDEW's best known combat vehicle is a refit of the M1 Marksman that features an engine swap which allows the installation of larger MRM launchers.[1]
