Jameston Gaston was the commanding officer of the Tenth Deneb Light Cavalry as of 3050.[1]

Hauptmann-General Gaston, serving with the Tenth Deneb Light Cavalry, was stationed on Crossing in 3050 and on New Avalon in 3062.[1][2] Serving as a hovertank company commander in the Tenth DLC during the Fourth Succession War, Gaston's experiences fighting the Draconis Combine left him with a lasting hatred of the Combine as a whole and House Kurita in particular. Victor Steiner-Davion's association with the Kuritas and his rumored relationship with Omi Kurita left Gaston as a firm supporter of the ex-Prince's sister, Katherine Steiner-Davion. Gaston's views were also shared by much of the Tenth DLC, as the unit saw Victor's alliance with their enemy as a betrayal of everything they stood for.[2]
