Planetary History

Jerangle was a part of the Apollo Province of the Rim Worlds Republic and was conquered by the Lyran Commonwealth during the 2773-2775 Republic-Commonwealth War.[11] It was conducive to farming; crops included rice, vanilla, coffee, and cacao.[33]

At some point decades prior to 3143, the Kell Hounds were active on Jerangle. They had a small battle near Potsdam town.[33]

Dark Age Era

By the 3140s, Jerangle was a quiet backwater, one rarely visited by the Lyran military.[33]

On 31 July 3143, Potsdam Town was threatened by pirates, the Red Stripe Raiders, who demanded supplies and money. A day later, local technician Katie Ferraro destroyed them with a salvaged Kit Fox. Rewarded by Mayor Marjorie Warhammer, she moved on to mercenary work.[33]

Two years later, on 22 May 3145, Katie's new mercenary unit, the Fox Patrol, destroyed the Jerangle Raiders in defense of Gothenburg.[36]
