Joel Brane was a MechWarrior in the Northwind Highlanders.[1]
History[edit]
Joel Brane was assigned to the Northwind Fusiliers Command Lance where he served alongside Naomi Katina and Leena Cochrane under the command of Captain Tara Bishop. Noted as one of the more experienced members of the unit, if he desired it he likely could have been in command of the entire regiment. His natural talent excused a good deal of discipline issues, even when his lackadaisical attitude rubs off on others in his unit.[1]

Brane piloted a Koshi BattleMech, nicknamed "Chill".[1]

Originally listed as a member of the First Kearny Highlanders in the initial MechWarrior: Dark Age Starter Set, this was superseded by the Naomi Katina Dossier in MechWarrior: Fire For Effect Booster Pack which assigned him to the Fusiliers. This error would not be corrected in the PDF version.[1]
