History
Jon Geist was the only known son of the Kommandant Nelson Geist, and an unknown mother, growing up on the planet Kooken's Pleasure Pit. Prior to the Clan Invasion, he married a young woman named Dorete, and had twins in 3049. At an unknown date, he enlisted in the Federated Commonwealth armed forces, joining the 10th Lyran Guards.[1]
Death and Legacy
In 3052, the Guards landed on planet Teniente, in a rescue mission to save Hohiro Kurita and his unit. The Clan Nova Cat forces were busy fighting ComGuard units during Operation Scorpion, and the Guards crushed them, suffering, apparently, few casualties... but Jon was one of these.[2] Jon was survived by his father, wife and two twin sons, but Nelson Geist died three years later, during the Red Corsair affair. As he had joined the Kell Hounds mercenary group, Jon's widow and sons moved to Arc-Royal, where the Hounds took care of them.[3]
BattleMechs
In his last battle, Jon piloted a Phoenix Hawk.[4]
