Description
For corporations in the thirty-first century, the safety of their sprawling factories is often the responsibility of their own security forces, resulting in private armies larger than a small Periphery nation's entire military.[1] StarCorps Industries strikes a balance between speed and firepower with their Jump Assault Infantry. Jump packs permit quick response in an emergency while allowing for heavy equipment to be carried into battle. Units like these Jump Support Infantry saw numerous actions during the Jihad as StarCorps factories increasingly became the target of numerous attacks, reinforcing the corporation's wariness of any government.[1]
Armament
In addition to their Auto-Rifles, each platoon also carries Heavy Grenade Launchers. Although firing a variety of grenades, these units have favored Inferno rounds recently, allowing them greater viability in combating BattleMechs.
