Star League

During the final years of the Star League, Kagoshima was the host to a Star League Defense Force garrison.[33]

Succession Wars

Kagoshima is noteworthy as the birthworld of Subhash Indrahar and Takashi Kurita.[1] Kagoshima is home to the prestigious Wisdom of the Dragon military academy. [34]

Jihad

Kagoshima is also the capital world of the prefecture that holds both Luthien and Pesht. During the Jihad when Luthien was attacked and Pesht was focusing on defensive matters, Kagoshima stepped into the gap to ensure that the machinery of government continued to run.[1]

Geography

The planet has three continents, Sakurajima where the capital city Kuroda is located, Kyushu and Kamoike.[1]
