Description

Apparently inspired by an encounter with a concealed ghost bear, the 'Mech makes use of stealth armor and—more controversially—claws, the implications of which came to a head when Bekker impaled his opponent in an initial combat trial. While the manner of his victory was inherently dishonorable, the efficacy of the design could not be denied, and the production of a test run was authorized, soon followed by sudden demand from Clan Wolf.[1]

The combination of a Kolibri Delta Series medium pulse laser and three Series 1 ER small lasers in each side torso, and the use of only 10 double heat sinks allows the 'Mech to quickly reach and maintain the heat levels required to activate its TSM. This greatly enhances the destructive potential of its claws and allows it to achieve the pilot kills the 'Mech is known for, while still providing respectable short-ranged firepower. Finally, almost as an afterthought, a Series 3c micro pulse laser was added to assist it against enemy infantry.[3]
