The Krimari system was home to at least one habitable world, Krimari III, and as at 3145 was located in the Magistracy of Canopus.[2][3]

System Description

The Krimari system is located near the Nobel system and the Trznadel Cluster[2][3] and consists of a class K7V primary orbited by at least three planets.[1]

System History

The Krimari system was either colonised in the handful of years between the end of the Age of War and the beginning of the Reunification War,[4][5] or was an already-inhabited system that became significant enough during this period for the Inner Sphere nations to begin recording its location on maps.

Krimari III

Template:InfoBoxPlanetStandard Krimari III - more commonly known simply as Krimari - is the third planet in the system and has a single moon named Names.[1]

Planetary History

Star League

Reunification War

Krimari was unknown to the Star League when a Star League Defense Force task force under the command of Captain-General Marion Marik was assigned to conquer the Magistracy of Canopus in 2577. By 2583, the task force had learned of the existence of Krimari, and Krimari was targetted by the SLDF late that year following the catastrophic losses the MAF navy took at Thurrock. Krimari was conquered quickly by VII Corps' Fifty-ninth Brigade supported by the Third and Fourth Brigades of the Fusiliers of Oriente in late 2583.[6][7]

Krimari would be occupied by the SLDF for the remainder of the war; once the Reunification War ended, a number of Magistracy worlds were annexed by the Free Worlds League, but Krimari remained a part of the Magistracy.[6][8] Shortly after the war Colonel Adam Buquoy, who had led the Magistracy Armed Forces valiantly and with great skill against the SLDF during the Reunification War, was released from internment and chose to retire to Krimari. Radical extremists within the Magistracy attempted to recruit Buquoy as a leader, but he declined; Buquoy continued to live on Krimari until the 20th of February 2604, when a deranged Canopian extremist assassinated him.[9][10]

Fall of the Star League

During the final years of the Star League, Krimari was the host to a Star League Defense Force garrison.[11] Krimari was one of the worlds on which battles were fought during the Periphery Uprising; during the redeployment of significant SLDF reinforcements into the Periphery the 151st Royal BattleMech Division was deployed to Krimari, and it was during the fight for control of Krimari that the commanding officer of the 151st Royal BattleMech Regiment - the lead regiment of the Division - was killed in action.[12]

Jihad

For many years, Krimari was known for the high quality medical professionals it created. In 3079 the world's most important export was doctors and nurses.[13]
