History[edit]
MacElroy was reputed to be temperamental, staunchly independent and more than a little profane. While she was known a dedicated MechWarrior, characterized by swift attacks and devastating ambushes, she was also thought of as a bit of a man-hater who seemed determined to appear unattractive.[1] Her fellow Alpha Regiment Captain Lucas Kenner believed she would have been considered a lesbian, except that she did not have time for women either, apart from her 'Mech "Bunker."[2]
Risque suggestions were made by her fellow Dragoons regarding her relationship with her 'Mech, but never in her presence.[1]
Hesperus II[edit]
Waller, already a Captain in command of Waller's Company ("Waller Wailers") of Able Battalion, participated in the Dragoons' deep penetration raid on Hesperus II in 3019 while under Marik employ.[2]
Barlow's End[edit]
Waller, in September 3026 during the Dragoons' contract with the Draconis Combine, also led her company during its participated in the Dragoons' raid on Barlow's End together with the Ryuken with the aim of capturing an experimental prototype weapon being developed at the Achernar Proving Grounds.[3]
Misery[edit]
As of early 3028, Waller was still in command of Waller's Company. Following the Battle of Misery however, the company was disbanded, and Waller became commander of the Fire Lance of Alpha Regiment's First Provisional Company.[1]

Lauren Waller was known to pilot a Wolverine BattleMech, which she called "Bunker."[1]
