Laurie Empen was the commanding officer of the Point Barrow Academy Training Battalion as of 3062.[1]

Kommandant Empen, serving with the Point Barrow Academy Training Battalion, was stationed on Point Barrow in 3062. A fifteen-year veteran, Empen looked at her command of the battalion as her final assignment, despite her retirement being years away. While she was hard on her cadets, she was dedicated to making them the best soldiers they could be.[1]
