Lieutenant Thonngoprakhon brought his family's Rifleman with him when he joined the Lexington Combat Group but had it shot out from under him when his lance was overrun. The mercenaries' employers promised to sell them new machines but delivered expensive factory-fresh 'Mechs instead of lower-priced refurbished ones. While Thonngoprakhon was happy to have a powerful new ride, he was aware that it must have cost the unit more than it could afford and resolved to be careful with it so that its potential loss wouldn't bring his comrades closer to financial ruin.[1]
