Major General Levka Horwitz was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 231st BattleMech Division as of 2764.[1]

A dour man with a depressed view of life, the difficulties caused by the Capellan Confederation for his Corps' supply situation and freedom of action on Bellatrix, did not improve Horwitz's disposition. His CO General Janeth Apostolaki was not impressed with Horwitz's unremarkable command record as of 2764, and was therefore looking for a replacement for him.[1]
