History

Lucian was a patrician.[1] He was a tank gunner since at least 3066, when he participated in the Marian invasion of Blantleff.[2]

On 17 March 3075, Lucian and his century of Scorpions were sent to aid the defenders of a Blantleff-based research facility attacked by Cabot Dayne's Circinus Federation-affiliated mercenaries.[3] On orders from Legatus Ramirez, Lucian pursued the mercenary battle armor squad's Harasser,[2] only to be caught in the chaos of the mercenaries' confrontation with their surprise Word of Blake employer.[4] Lucian lost his century to the Blakists, but found an unplanned and abnormal escape route: a Scorpion whose crew had been killed, now crewed by Dayne's mercenaries and in need of a qualified driver.[5]

Together, Lucian and the mercenaries escaped to a Marian evacuation zone. However, as Lucian attempted to report to Legatus Ramirez, a Blakist prisoner Ramirez was interrogating self-destructed, killing Ramirez and Lucian. Cabot could only barely save a third Marian who would have been within range of the explosion, Senator Marcus Tullius Livinus.[6]

Vehicles

Lucian was the gunner for a Scorpion.[3]
