Lynette Ortega was the commander of the Seventh Confederation Reserve Cavalry, with the Capellan Confederation, as of 3145.[1]

Ortega, with the Seventh Confederation Reserve Cavalry, was based on Bromhead as of 3145.[1] In battle, Ortega favored what she called "Rapid Stream" tactics, which comprised attacking in rotating waves. While she believed this tactical approach to be effective, during fighting against the Republic of the Sphere, it often resulted in her forces being defeated in detail unless they had superior numbers.[2]
