Planetary History

First Succession War

Markesan was invaded during the second half of the major invasion into the Federated Suns launched by the Draconis Combine in May 2791.[9] Markesan was liberated by the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns in 2801-02 during the first major AFFS counter-offensive of the First Succession War against the Draconis Combine.[10]

Jihad

On the 13th of August 3072 a Word of Blake raiding force was defeated in the Markesan system; the Blake forces were attempting to destroy the Federated Suns leadership, but the AeroSpace and naval forces defending the Princess-Regent were able to prevent the raid from succeeding.[36][37]
