Star Colonel Maurice Radick was a trueborn warrior born in the Republic of the Sphere.[1]
History[edit]
Steel Wolves[edit]
In 3134, Radick was a member of the Steel Wolves, a Star Captain acting as the aide to the Crusaders Cluster's Star Colonel Jigme Conners.[1]
Clan Wolf[edit]
By 3145 however, Radick had joined Clan Wolf proper, as a Star Colonel leading the Shiloh based 103rd Wolf Guard Striker Cluster.[2]
In May 3149, still in command of the 103rd Wolf Guard Striker Cluster, Radick attacked Alhena intent on conquering it for the Wolf Empire. Fighting against the VIII Triarii Protectors, whose Colonel Oisín Fegan dug in his forces around the planetary capital of Focci's Point, forming a wall of 'Mechs and armor in front of artillery batteries. Star Colonel Radick realized that his Cluster would not win in a long-distance duel against artillery, and instead ordered a trinary of Linebackers under Star Captain Rhea to reconfigure for close assault and strike the Triarii's flank, relying on their speed to avoid being targeted by the artillery. Breaching the artillery park, the Linebackers silenced the guns, and struck the Protectors from the rear as the rest of the 103rd launched a frontal assault. Mauling the RAF troops, few of the Eighth Triarii survived the 103rd's attack to withdraw off-world.[3][4]
