Major General Mitchell "Mad Mitch" Cussler was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's LXX Corps as of 2764.[1]
History[edit]
Cussler joined the SLDF at the age of sixteen, after which he rose steadily though the ranks, showing a flair for wild and unorthodox tactics. Several particularly aggressive operations he led as a captain earned him the nickname "Mad Mitch."[1]
Reputed to be Fourth Army's most strategically adept corps commander, he had a cordial relationship with his commanding officer General Tatjana Baptiste.[2] While Cussler was devoted to the ideals of the Star League, he despaired of First Lord Richard Cameron, resulting in Star League Intelligence Command keeping a close eye on him.
Cussler worked closely with the Federated Suns in his area of operations, both to defeat Capellan Confederation- and Taurian Concordat-funded bandits, as well as to keep his corps supplied from local sources.[1]
