Born to a family able to trace its lineage back to pre-spaceflight Scotland with a renowned history of service to the Highlanders, many expected Morgana would follow her father and uncles into the combat arms of the unit. Driven by years of seeing the toll and trauma inflicted by combat on those closest to her, she instead chose to become a doctor, specifically focusing on the treatment of warriors affected by their combat service to the Highlanders.[1]
