Captain Nancy Stegil was a MechWarrior in the Armed Forces of the Federated Commonwealth in the middle of the 31st century.[1]

History
Nancy Stegil graduated from the NAMA, aka New Avalon Military Academy, in 3053 and later served with the Davion Heavy Guards along the border of the Jade Falcon Occupation Zone. However, Nancy would never have the opportunity to engage forces from Clan Jade Falcon.[1]
While stationed on New Avalon in 3059, then Leftenant Nancy Stegil would volunteer to join the raid on Asgard as part of Operation BIRD DOG. Nancy would shoot down the infamous Manfred "The Gray Baron" Chrisholm during the fighting on Asgard against elements of the 4th Jaguar Dragoons Cluster.[1]
Sometime after the events on Asgard, Nancy is promoted to Captain and contributes to the book Operation BIRD DOG: The Forgotten Battles by Rice Wills.[2]
BattleMech
Nancy Stegil normally piloted a JagerMech BattleMech. But for Operation BIRD DOG, Nancy was given a Timber Wolf OmniMech.[1][3]
