Nathan Castle was a late Dark Age Era and IlClan Era officer of Wolf's Dragoons.
History[edit]
3139–3140[edit]
On 3149, Nathan Castle was a MechWarrior, with the rank of Captain in the Spider’s Web Battalion of Wolf’s Dragoons during the time that Wolf’s Dragoons began their employment by the Draconis Combine to conquer the worlds of the Draconis Reach. Castle was the commander of the Spider’s Web Charlie Company.[1]
Natahan fought at fron of his company during the Battle of Marlowe's Rift (3139), leading the search of the Marlowe Militia after they fled, falling into an ambush, downing a MOD ForestryMech, fighting an Atlas.[2]
The 15 March, he balked two of his men which had put a fight against some Ryuken on leave, impressing Colonel Henry Kincaida nd the Combine PSL Tori Ishihara with his profesionalism.[3]
Later, Nathan fought at the Battle of Misery (3139), where, during the recon, he found the remains of a Ryuken tank company, recovering part of one and delivering it to Ishihara, as tribute to the fallen's heroism. She thanked him for his respect, and the Dragoons Major Chan congratulated him too.[4]
On April 3140, Nathan fought at a combat exercice against the newly created Wolfsbane Battalion, where he was killed by an artillery attack, and the Web's company he led was defeated, with Nathan being scolded by his superior, Major Kenner, when he complained about the unexpected use of artillery.[5]
The same year, Castle fought at the Battle of Glenmora (3140), seeing haevy combat, specially besides Nina Slade. At the completion of the campaign to conquer the Draconis Reach, Castle, which was wounded and at the hospital, he blamed himself for his losses, so he was surprised when Kincaid promoted him to Major and put in command of the Wolfsbane, after the unit lost its first commander, Major Kenner. [6]
IlClan Era[edit]
Castle survived the debacle of IlClan Trial, as the Wolbsbane, due to the fact it didn't went to Terra, along with most of the Dragoons. He retained the command of his battalion, which became a training unit stationed on Ilion. BY 3152, he still retained his place.[7]
BattleMech[edit]
Castle's Mech was a Clan Cauldron-Born B.[8]
