The plot of the novel continues in Assumption of Risk.
On 7 July 2009, the novel was made available on BattleCorps as a PDF file (text only, without the cover, pictures or any other artwork except the usual BattleCorps frame graphics). The PDF includes a disclaimer stating that it was created from a pre-final edition text and might differ from the printed version and that canon-wise, the print edition trumps the PDF edition.

Summary
Pre-FedCom civil War. Arc-Royal; Victor Davion, Katherine Steiner changes name to Katrina, is a charmer. Khan Phelan Kell Ward attends Morgan Kell's retirement. Omi Kurita and Victor's love grows. Red Corsair raids F-C territory, clan wolf sends 31st Wolf Solhama unit to stop them. Zimmer's Zouaves destroyed by 31st WS cuz they got between them and Red Corsair. Melissa Steiner assassinated, bomb also kills Salome Kell. Description of first battle Kell Hounds vs. Red Corsair p. 277. Red is from CJF. 31st WS is in league with Red. Description of 31st WS on p. 308. Is related on p. 324 that the Wolverines were destroyed cuz they used a nuke on a genetic repository.
