Legate Nehemiah Leif was the Planetary Legate of Callison, for the Republic of the Sphere, from at least 3130 until his death in 3135.[1][2][3]
Personal Appearance[edit]
As of 3135, when in his early 50s, Leif had white hair which was starting to go bald.[3]
History[edit]
Legate Leif, reputed to be a surly officer who aggressively defending his troops and decisions, commanded the Callison Light Horse. Loyal to the Republic, following the raising of Fortress Republic, he resisted attempts by Governor Allison Stewart to take more direct control over his military forces.[3]
Leif was present at a riot at the Callison Light Horse's Brandenburg Barracks mere weeks after the raising of Fortress Republic, which was instigated by rumors spread at the behest of Governor Stewart in order to undermine Leif's resistance to her take over of the Light Horse, by Ghost Knight Ceresco Hancock (operating under the assumed identify Cheryl Gunson]]. During the riot, while Leif was trying to calm the crowd, the Barracks was breached by rioters who killed Legate Leif during the ensuring violence.[4]
