Major General Nelson Almo was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 131st Jump Infantry Division as of 2764.[1]

During his time as CO of the 131st Jump Infantry Division, Major General Almo focused on improving its ability to conduct combined arms airborne assaults, successfully enabling them to conduct surgical drops mixing both infantry and BattleMechs.[1]
